
Performance
Held weekly workshops with multiple stakeholders to design the end-to-end experience for a Dynamic Pricing Tool. Designed a solution that helped salespeople view all the applicable pricing and fees related information charged to the account and make edits within the acceptable range to understand the impact both to the merchant (savings) and to the company (change in revenue).
Designed a tool that allows revenue specialists to import a list of reprice-eligible accounts and make any changes necessary at the Merchant ID level as well as to view subsequent forecasted revenue models generated.
Owned the experience for a consumer application on POS devices that gives flexibility to customers to split their bills in a fair and concise manner in the North American region. Collaborated extensively with UX researchers to understand the North American market and subsequent customer habits. Worked closely with Developers to implement designs on POS devices.
Currently supporting additional design requests and maintaining the Payments Application "Unified Payments Application" on the POS device allowing merchants to customise their devices and use the application to collect payments from customers

My Impact

Worked on a high-quality solution to effectively display individual and chain account pricing details. Allowed salespeople to dynamically edit pricing, processing and transaction fees to offer better contracts to merchants. As a result, drove project progress, and shipped it in high quality.
Output: A new feature in Dynamic Pricing Tool.
Outcome: A top problem to be solved for the team is now closed out and the feature is delivering value to customers.
Impact: The new feature was a factor in unblocking a sales deal with a strategically important company worth $50k in revenue.

I autonomously conducted a design review of the Precision Pricing Tool, identified a bottlenecks in the Revenue Determination process, worked with the team to ship improvements during wiggle week.
Output: Changes to the Precision Pricing Tool.
Outcome: A number of problems that would otherwise have gone unidentified have been addressed and team KPIs have improved as a result.
Impact: The new changes unblocked a bottleneck in the decision making process and enabling the sales team to hit 90% of their performance targets.

I organized Figma training for designers to teach them how to use variables to incorporate light/dark mode, multiple language functionality and responsiveness in designs.
Output: A series of lunch and learns.
Outcome: Designers are upskilled in using Figma’s advanced features.
Impact: Designers now produce mockups more quickly and efficiently.

Design Developer Handoff Process
Communication
Constantly updating developers and clients on design updates and version history changes. Holding workshops to ideate and develop consistent design experiences to make the handoff process easier.
Clarity
CoUnderstand that both are on the same page and understand simplify and confirm.ier.
Concepts
Shared understanding of design and development concepts. This is achieved by proper documentation of patterns, components etc.
Consistency
Repeating the following steps until the application, features and flows match the designs.
Learnings

Focussing on the problems rather than coming up with creative solutions. I learnt how to dig deep into the problem and test out multiple iterations instead of perfecting one solution.

Accessibility should be planned for from the very beginning and should be explicitly conveyed to developers and well-defined in designs.

Designing for multiple devices should be well-documented and defined in a document to help streamline design and developer processes to be able to focus on prdouct decisions.
My overall Experience
My overall experience at Global Payments has enabled me to take ownership of projects and taught me how to communicate and showcase my designs to stakeholders effectively. I have had the opportunity to explore the payments domain and deep-dive into the various technologies underlying it.
I have had the privilege of working and learning from some of the most harworking and kind-hearted people here. My team comprised of designers and developers working on individual projects and design systems enabling me to understand from both perspectives and the processes required to handle the projects.
